Default MTX-L -Powersports or Automotive?

Lots of googling and searching... Will the 3' sensor wire on the powersports version be long enough? I'd rather not have an extra 7' of wire laying around behind my dash or whatever if the short version is long enough..

Suppose that depends on where you have the sensor and where the controller will be.

The sensor will be in the downpipe and the gauge will either be in my a pillar or a vent ring.

I feel like vent ring, powersports, a pillar, automotive.. Maybe I'll just get the automotive so I'm set no matter what.

I'm thinking automotive. Downpipe to vent ring would probably only work if you could go as the crow flies.

I don't usually let crows into my car.

I refuse to drive a stock Miata without a bunch of birds in it.

Cut some string to the same length and find out for yourself! (I have the automotive and I have a bunch of extra wire, you might be able to get away with the powersports version)
