The girl did good

We autocrossed our 99 Miata yesterday and I'm so proud of my wife. Sue came in 18th out of 88 drivers. There were five girls and Sue beat their times by over 3 seconds. The car ran well and we're getting used to the 300HP turbo, she's learning how to handle all the power and to the feather the car into the turns to keep from spinning out the rear tires. Three weeks and we'll be road racing a 2.8 mile course in Purhump, NV 75 miles north of Las Vegas. She named the car "Mighty Mouse"!

Girls can be awesome at autox. On a course where smooth is fast, they rock. I blame overcooked corners on testosterone.

Hope to see her here in Lincoln at Nationals next year. The 08 and 09 SSML champ is a local. Sue runs a 325WHP supercharged S2000.
