What is the difference between 34-550 NA01-34-550, and 34-550 NA01-34-550A? Aside from the "A" at the end of course...

The two parts are equivalent. You'll notice the listing for NA01-34-550 specifies NA01-34-550A as an alternate (i.e., "A(NA01-34-550A)").

Just don't get the chinese knockoffs. You'll be replaceing them again after less than 5,000 miles. Heat treatment (hardening) on them is absolute crap.

if this is on mazdaspeed dev. when you add them to cart and check out, it may tell you that its replacing the 550 with the 550A. I have had that happen to me before on parts that they no longer sell, but have a replacement for. (part # always has to change if its a different part from the original)

A= Alternate... Meaning? Ususally when you see that, it means the part has undergone an update... Still the same part, and therefore the same cataloge #... Just with a revision...I.E. (A,B,C)

Mazdamotorsports loves to leave superseded part numbers all over their site, I'm sure the A is just the new "alternate" version of that part.
