0-60 Time is around 4.1 seconds with a 1/4 mile time of 12.7 @ 107 MPH
It's hard to get a Miata to launch that hard, esp. with the kind of power that will net you a 12 sec 1/4mi time.
Oh and Ben... racing on Hamilton Mill Pkwy is ...well....... you should know how residents around there are fast to cell the five-oh's. Though one time i did see a mid-90's Accord beached on the top of one of the big hills along side the road...it was quite funny.

Since they put that traffic light up (with cameras) in the middle of Hamilton Mill Pkwy, I haven't seen a single cop.

Nice kill story Ben! I too was hoping that pic was a youtube link. Oh well.
My only race in the 8 years I've owned my miata is the day I installed my GReddy kit back in 2001. I raced a cavalier Z34 (?) with 4 fat people in it. I barely won. For some reason I never get any attention, which is a good thing I think.
Anyways, good job again

Well, first off ,thats not a Exige... just a plain Elise, which is still quick, but nowhere near as fast as an Exige. IIRC the base Exige S is ~220hp and then there is the Exige S 240. Now one of those cars would have been a formidable opponent for you. Now had it been a run-in in the mountains (and if he had a half-***** worth of driving ability), you would have been left in the dust.
Depends on the driver. On saturday a guy brought out a fully track prepped exige and was the fastest car in his run group, but still slower than spec miata times.

Oh no doubt.. i know it has a LOT to do with the driver. I suspect that many of them don't use the cars potential in fear of wrecking the car. But even a stock Elise with a better than average driver will be a heck of a contender. Spec-Miata drivers are just nuts anyway... they don't care about a dent and ding session on the track.... i don't think the Elise drivers feel the same lol.

heres a vid of my turbo miata chasing a fully built mustang LX.
an Elise , 911 , and saleen s271 all seem to be in the way.
the elise on its stock AO48's and the all the other cars on Toyo RA1's.
straightaway point bye rule in effect
