The butterfly is pretty dang intricate creation. I'd be impressed to say the least if it can be copied for under what FM charges. I wonder if just bars straight across from the rail braces would accomplish the same fxn.
I bought the butterfly brace this past Friday but if you want to know how it will fit with the rails, you'll have to wait for at least 3 weeks. I live overseas and I don't think I'll get them before the new year.

Sorry to crap on your thread Stein.

Lots of pictures attached. I'll write something up on the installation soon, but right now I wanted to get these posted and get some shipped. 20 sets shipping today and tomorrow. Unfortunately, I will be travelling this week, so the next shipment will be Friday/Monday.

All I did was drive around the square mile, one mile paved and three gravel. I intentionally drove over some of the rougher washboard sections (pretty severe) and the cowl shake is dramatically reduced. Much less rattling. No performance driving done as it is -8* F here.

They look exactly like the first generation FM rails that I have on my car. Nicely done.

Everything that has been paid for has shipped. I'd rather not send out all of the tracking numbers if I can hlep it unless someone specifically needs one. If you haven't seen it by Friday, let me know and I will get you a tracking number.

Overseas orders shipped USPS today as well. The post office said it will be on the long side of 6-10 days due to the holiday season. Originally we estimated 17 lbs but actual packed shipping weight ended up being 19lbs 4 oz.

Stein shipped
cjernigan paid-need to ship
cardriverx need payment

I ended up with 35 sets. 20 shipped, one paid and need to ship, 11 yet to pay. That leaves me with 4 sets left over for the waiting list.

In order, they are

bayonaim
3barboost
Karter74 (two sets)
druz
mightymouse
VanMSM
disturbedfan
nicacus
JustJake
sixshooter
MXslide
dizzid
ca18det

That makes 14 on the waiting list. Here is the deal. Starting from the top, they have priority. There are 4 sets available. I talked to the shop and they will do a short run of 10 for only $18/set more, so if everyone on the waiting list signs up, the first 4 get them for the original price of $107 (lower 48 states) and everyone else can still get in for $125 shipped (lower 48). Sorry I can't do the $107, but for only 10 sets, it's still a pretty good deal. I need a firm IN or OUT from everyone on the list. For those that need to pay, please do so soon.

I hope that I have everything right above, but it was a lot to track down. Let me know if there is anything that isn't correct.

I'm sure the rest of my fellow GB buyers will join me in thanking you for a job really well done!

It has surely been more trouble than you originally envisioned but; I'm sure you'll have many customers very pleased with the final results.

I would still be in at $125, but a couple questions. How long are you going to wait for the people who haven't paid yet and if you then go to the waiting list how does that effect this 2nd order?

Does that fuel line relocation bracket come with the kit? I don't recall you talking about this before.
