Fully race prepped oil pump assemblies:
This service would include the following processes...
First we are going to mount the housing bore, and floor machine the pump recess maximizing parallelness, perpendicularity, and flatness of all sides of the housing. Then we flatten the top. This boosts efficiency and life of the assembly. The 01-up pumps especially have a problem with shoddy factory manufacturing that is out of square and creates dangerous wear patterns.
Second we're going to make a set of pump gears specifically for this recess, which fits at the clearances I've calculated for maximum flow and bearing efficiency. (before we had to account for wear and inaccuracy so they ran a little loose for more safety over function)
Third the part is going to be tested with various cleaning techniques to remove deposits. We'll use the one that does the best job, and produces a housing that looks great.
Fourth the housing is reassembled using new factory seals and shipped.
Fifth you bolt a sealed, pre-assembled, pre-inspected, high flow billet oil pump assembly to your motor and forgot about it.
We're thinking about making this a service if we can get it to set down in our machine process.
The price would be around 250-325 w/billet oil pump gears included depending on time. Let me know who would be interested, no commitment, just digging for interest.
