Default Anyone in Indy comfortable (haha) with tuning a Hydra 2.5?

I'm having a hell of a time getting this thing tuned. I don't have interest or time in learning to tune it myself at this point in time, and the people that i know of around here that have Hydra experience don't seem to be interested in making money.

So.

Anyone?

Current tune is bordering on undriveable.

1st auto tune it as it takes nothing to do apart from connecting the computer and saving. That will help your off boost afrs.

The setting will need the most basic amount of work. Its really easy.

What are your driveability issues?

I don't even know how to connect this bastard to the computer. I bought it under Flyin' Miata's recommendation, being told that it would drive better than stock and i'd never really have to **** with it, because i don't have time to **** with it. I have 4 other cars to keep track of. Two are daily drivers, two are real projects, and one is both.

I don't even know if it has auto tune.

Driveability issues:

Idle surges like crazy
Stalls at 50% of stops
Hard starting/long cranking
Continues to "cruise" when foot taken off gas for a second or two
Extreme rev hang

Power issues: Slow as ***** for a car that dyno'd 245whp on FM's dyno. Feels faster at 75% throttle than 100% throttle. Falls on its face after 6000rpms. (Feels like it hits a timing wall.)

I test drove RX8s yesterday if that tells you anything.

ok. I hear ya. It really takes maybe 5 minutes to adjust your settings.

idle surges + stalls = settings>ISC>(lower by 10 press enter) add or subtract till bliping the throttle doesnt stall the car.

Hard start..... wait 2 seconds after turning your key to the on position before cranking. Not like stock but close enough.

Continued cruise...... Settings>Setup>check enable fuel cut on decel. then.... Select>Control 3> fuel cut limit>> make it 1600 ish down to 0deg C........

And i could continue to explain the auto tune. Really not a big deal.

I do that with the hard start. Still usually won't start on the first try. If it does, it'll stall.

I'd really rather just pay someone to tune it. I have no real interest in tuning this thing or messing with it myself. I wasn't kidding when i said i don't even know how to get into the ECU. I don't know what software it's running, what build of 2.5 tuning software i need, no idea how to open or modify maps, save maps, nothing. Never touched this, never planned on it.

That's not to say i don't appreciate the help, though. If i'm bored when i have time to mess with it finally say.... next summer, i'll take a look at it if i haven't found someone to tune it by then. Or if i haven't just sold it.
