Ignore these *******, if you read on other forums people are loving it. There are def, some legit gripes, but overall it is still addicting and fun.
All GT's have had races where you needed a certain car, and once you get to Professional/Expert races you can use same cars for multiple races. I used my 67 Lambo for many things... Now I'm using my Viper ACR (1014hp)
The game is awesome, but has somethings that need to be improved/fixed.

It's a little better, but doesn't address many of the big gripes. They fixed some driving options menus and some of the crediting.
I've been playing the game A LOT since finishing with school though, and have grown to really like it.
I still hate the fact that I will probably need a wheel to really enjoy it, or maybe even just to finish the higher levels...but for now I'm enjoying coaching my B-Spec drivers while I catch up on other stuff around here that has waited for me all semester, like reorganizing my garage and office.
I have found a new gripe though:
Game Progression
What the hell is up with the incongruous increases and decreases in difficulty of the races in the series. There are spatters of stupid hard championships followed by ridiculously easy races that should have been a level or two back and don't net much money or experience.
I find myself jumping around a lot, and having to come back for the hard ones when I finally have the cash for a decent car.
Strange, but oh well, very pretty game, and fun to play when you don't have to elbow the AI just to stay alive in a race.
