I can't help but wonder if we'll lose the incredible cinematic production values which set their program apart from damn near everything else on TV, something possible only with a BBC-sized budget. Will Netflix be able to afford to send the trio on an insane romp across the whole Asian continent, attended by considerable support staff and crew? Will the loss of that sort of thing leave a hole in the show?

<p>I hope they can keep the global spread of the show. The coolest part about top gear to me is that it was the most watched television show in the world. People watch it everywhere. Netflix has had issues showing stuff in other countries, maybe it will be different if they are producing it.</p>
