Bump for an awesome thread...

Polished off a 32 oz growler of Bear Republic Mach 10 Double IPA. Now I'm working on a can of Surly Wet canned 10 days ago... Cheers!

Actually Moose Drool is pretty decent. I was surprised the first time I had it.

It's good and readily available, but nowhere near as good as Ellie's Brown Ale from Avery Brewing. Just wish I could find a local place that sold Ellie's.

I love this stuff.

Tried Delirium Nocturnum for the first time a few weeks ago, and I don't like it quite as much as Tremens. It was good, but had a slight caramel / licorice note about it which I found out of place.

Not my hand:

Great beer. Reminds me of Shiner with more hop, the right amount of fix, more complex nuttiness, a bit more smokey, lighter, less bitter...awesome with the ribs I smoked.

Piraat is all the things DT wishes it could be, without the hype. It's a solid beer, don't get me wrong, but I think Piraat is more "fun" than DT.

One of my favorites for sure. And I think it's better in the can than bottle...strange but true.

Here's what I'm working on tonight. Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro.

(Yes, that's a dollop of vanilla ice cream in a half-pint of oatmeal stout. Unbelievably delicious.)

This is worth trying, especially if you want to have many of them. Entirely too easy to drink...

Normally I do not like IPAs, but a friend of mine, in exchange for some lower control arms and what nots, gave me a pack of Dogfish Head 90-minute IPA. I like it, good stuff.

It pairs well with Ritz crackers (LOL) because they take some of the edge off and bring out some of the undertone flavors.

So the only two pale ales I like are Avery Salvation (thanks Hustler) and Dogfish IPA (thanks DVCN). Note that both were provided to me by turbo Miata psychotics.

I like the 90 minute very much. The 60 minute is pretty good, but it doesn't have the strength of the 90 minute. The 120 minute is very to potent. It's better to mix with World Wide stout and make a black and tan with.
