BTW - This bugs me, why do we call him "Mr. Al-Thani?" His name is: Sheik Khalid bin Hamad Al-Thani, which breaks down to:

Sheikh: title

Khalid: name

bin: son of

Hamad: Khalid's father's name

al Thani: "the 2nd"

"Nice to meet you, Mister The Second."
