Default Best way to sell all my old Miata parts ???

I think I am getting out of the NA/M1 hobby and wanting to clean up some of the junk laying around here. I started looking at the stuff I had and I am confused on what to do with it. If you had a bunch of M1 intake manifolds, starters, fuel rails, etc what would you do with them. Hell, I have 26 stock fuel injectors (don't ask). My first thought was to make a list and put them on craigslist but I am not sure if it would be worth the hassle to sell them one at a time. I could put them all as one lot on Ebay (local pickup only) but I'm sure the stack of throttle bodies I have is worth more than what I would get for everything. Sure, I'll probably post an ad here but I don't see how that will get rid of everything. My wife told me to throw everything in the back of the truck and take it to the dump (or turn it into $$$ at the metal scrap yard) but that seems like such a waste. Any ideas?

FWIW, most of the stuff is stock M1 parts. I do have a very small amount of turbo/JRSC stuff that I could probably sell separately but that is the exception. My main goal is to get rid of the majority of the stuff quickly.

In the same situation as you, I threw some stuff up for a week then ended up scrapping what didn't get sold. It was painful throwing good parts away, but its better then having them sit around forever.

Just a couple of months ago I was complaining that I threw so much M1 stuff away since I was doing the V8 project. Now both the cars are gone and this stuff is once again not needed.

It is so. I'll be "stuck" driving the wife's MSM if I want Miata fun from now on.

It sure is nice clearing up two spaces in the driveway though...

After parting out 5 or 6 cars, selling the good stuff, I have a large pile of "parts that won't sell fast but are worth holding onto in case they are needed". They really need to just go.

The problem is there are few locals so everything has to be shipped. It's a pain to ship out $10 parts. I have filled a couple of "help me" requests here but haven't listed a string of $5 parts for fear that someone would need them and I'll have to ship them.

At one point I was selling blank keys on eBay for $3.99 with free shipping. I was actually losing about .20 on each sale.

I'd list everything you have nicely and let it sit and spin. Eventually someone that needs __________ will show up and buy from you if the price is right. If they've already been sitting, whats another couple months?

I just sold a Offenhauser manifold that I had listed since February. Sold it for $500 though.

The junkyard mentality is so stupid. My bro does it. Part time scrapper. Him and another guy had these 4 solid cast aluminum playground toys from back in the day. They were going to bring them to the scrap yard and I valued them at $15 each at the current price of aluminum. Well, I talked them into letting me list them and out of the 4 I already sold 3 at $275 a pop. I should have handed him $100 bill the day he showed them to me so it would be all my profit.
