Yea. so i was doing an oil change on my gf's car, and by accident, spilled a small amount of oil. Question is, how can i get some of it out of my driveway. What I mean is, is there any kind of soap to use to lift it?
Ill be back around 9pm when i get out of work to see what you guys come up with, I don't feel like thinking or looking online

Here in the shop, we use oil dry (aka kitty litter). once you have the spot dry, add some fresh oil dry, and use the heel of you boot to grind it into the concrete. It works surprisingly well; also a pressure washer performs a fine job at removing oil stains.

After you soak it up with kitty litter spray it with some brake cleaner. While the liquid is still pooled on top soak it all up with rags. It may take 2 treatments, but you'll never know it was there.

And for the record, I have worked in multiple shops, all with owners that have different views on shop cleanliness. The quick dry stuff works awesome, but you need to use it like....right away. And power washing oil on concrete, will not take the stain away, but most driveways are asphalt anyway. Shops with painted floors always clean up best.

I think you should rub your face in it, see if that works.

Its always a good idea to have oil absorbent pads in the house or the garage. There not expensive.

Throw some soap powders on it! Then scrub it with a brush, wash it off. and it will remove it completely.

Put some ordinary fuel on it and let it soak in, then just wash it away with a hose.
