Running about 8psi, they hit 400+whp. The lovefab 920whp car is completely insane, even when he turns it down to 600ish. Remember, these cars aren't really that heavy. But that said, turbo miata's still rule. I think that is why he traded for that 97 m edition project. Or maybe its because the grass is always greener.

I have only ridden in a few at the track and they are definitely tricky. We spun out in an 04 and almost got smacked by an itr. Explain that to the wife. The miata is way more balanced and suited for track use, imho.

Other than some sway bar sizing issues, these cars are "pure" out of the box.
Have always wanted one.

"interesting" is interesting to me.

They feel very very similar to the MK1 MR2, only stiffer, and wider with a decent LSD.

The last time I drove one around track was completely stock on street tires.

I was giggling because the car was soo stock I also kept the traction control on, and harassed a C5 z06 on hoosiers. I could keep the gas mashed out of the corners, it helped me find which line was smoothest because if I was on a great line the traction control wouldn't kick on. Even still it was very easy to step the back end out, especially with trailing throttle. Like most cars, the stock brake pads are not up to the task of real track duty.

I think your car looks great, but man those wheels are butt ugly. I mean stock miata daisys would look better than that. I bet you can get some money for those ugly *** things too if you hold out for a sale. There is always some hardass wannabe gangster who would want that on his SUV ... at least here in california.

Yea those rims are just nasty.

I think some nice 5 spoke deep dish rims would look great on it.

That's what I want. (Normal!) Split five spoke, 19/18's. These have some flaking so they will be hard to sell, but they have new tires. Going to need to save, but the miata comes first again. This car isn't hitting the track any time soon anyways.

If you need any parts, drop by Discount Honda and Acura parts and accessories - Hondacuraworld.com and talk with Tim. They are part of Ray Laks Acura, so they have a lot more than just accessories.

Thanks guys.

Now to pay off those two zero percent credit cards I bought it with, not kidding. I should be able to make it with bets at the dragstrip (the miata, of course), kidding. I just got tired of waiting and we paid off the house the same month I bought this.

Man, I absolutely love that car.

Have always wanted one, and that one looks like a Swedish model out there in the snow.

I like the idea of that car for the same reason I have always loved my Miata. Balance and purity, regardless of motivational power. After my Integra, I also noticed that Honda has a knack for balancing suspension, brakes and power nearly perfectly, regardless of whatever shitbox/supercar they are putting them on.

Very secksi. Imho, the wheels aren't bad at all. On almost any other car they would look terrible, but there is something badass about that combo. I would change them eventually, but i wouldn't be embarrassed to show it in public.
