Yeah, it's a much better deal than paying the $23k he invested in it. I added up everything that he sent to me regarding parts, and then he showed them installed in the car, so it all adds up.
I'm short just a little under $2k (and it's driving me up the wall to be so close) but I have about that in Saturn performance parts to sell, just no one biting until tax returns get back, and it'll be too late by then... :( Anyone want to send some money as a loan?! lol

Probably could, just haven't had the time to try. Been spending most of my time with doctors, at work, and then dealing with the insurance adjuster who is trying to lowball me on my car... It's been an adventure to say the least.

Did you get a lawyer for your accident? That adjuster won't lowball a lawyer as easily as they will an owner. Just mention the words "back pain" and "physical therapy".
Did you offer the Miata owner 2k less? You'd be surprised how low turbo Miata owners will go when they're selling, especially in winter, even in warmer climates as the potential buyers are more limited.

STO = Stuff Taken Off.
Recommendation get a 94+ with a Torsen. If you can snag a 99/00 with a good motor and six speed that's the way to go, it is the best of the bunch. Unfortunately it's more expensive than a 94. 90-93 will need a diff upgrade, possibly as much as the difference in price of a 94 torsen equipped model, plus you'll be starting with a 1.6 as opposed to the 1.8.
