Haha. That is sick!
You don't want a wrx though. Transmission == teh trash. Friend trashed his almost totally with a 3000rpm launch against an EVO VIIIMR who launched at like 5500. We went nowhere, EVO disappeared.

ugh!!!! ppl with wrx should know better than to launch them. They are notorious for breaking 1st and 2nd gears. At least the subaru has a real transmission, unlike a modified fwd trans in the evo.... go to http://www.andrewtechautomotive.com/...nsmissions.htm i have a friend that works there has dog engagement 1-4 gears. He can launch off the rev limiter all day!!!!

As for the EVO I really don't see what difference it makes if the engine is longitudinally or transversely mounted. I hate mitsu and they even made me like the Evolution. Every track test I've seen on factory vs factory cars the EVO has won out in every area I would look for if buying a car like that, even at our local auto cross the few EVOs do significantly better than every subaru based vehicle there with the exception of one, and it doesn't count cause its fully built..
I'm not even sure what my point is?? Honestly I wouldn't buy either, I'm very happy with my MS6 even if its slower, heavier, has less power. I can scream down the highway at 100mph, gets good mileage, almost totally silent, and cost over 10,000$ less to me than an EVO OR STi would've. go me, I guess.

Very nice video. Makes me want it to snow for real. When I finally break something in my OBS I'll try to find a WRX or STi drivetrain and do the swap. I love that boxer engine. Very rawwwwwwwww
