How (and why) to Ramble on your goat sideways
I like my current job, but I want a big raise and it's not going to happen for a while. I'm keeping my eyes open for opportunities but I'm pretty conflicted about the prospect of leaving.

A few years ago I was in a chemistry class with some girl whose name I did not know. I had no link between any emails I used for that particular school and my facebook page, nor had I looked her up at any point or really even said a word to her. We have no mutual friends, didnt go to high school together, didnt live in the same city at any point. I had absolutely no link to this person in anyway besides the fact that we were in a chemistry class together.
Then one day facebook decided to put her in "suggested friends".
The internet is weird. (n) spooky (n+2) me

^ This.
She is connected with someone who is connected with someone who is connected with you.
When I entered law school, I created a separate Facebook account for it, and also started using a separate browser for all purposes related to it. I still maintain that account (not sure why), and while I've tried to keep the two completely separate, I still get "friend suggestions" on one account for people relevant to the other. Somewhere along the line, I must have inadvertently opened one account in the "wrong" browser.

On cheap LEDs:
I went ahead and bought some of those cheap $4 LED bulbs to put outside around my house. I turned them on just now and they took FOREVER to warm up. It's about 10F outside right now. If i would guess it was probably a good 5 minutes before they were at their normal color and brightness. They also SUCK to look at, watching them flash 60 times a second is really horrible on the eyes.

Is there a "Force Awakens sucked" thread here? But in all seriousness I haven't heard what the more avid SW fans like JP thought of it. Being a purist ruins all sequel and reboots of movies for me.

A quick google search indicates that there is a company in Wichita called Transtecs that has Navy contracts and an office in Wichita. The TOR network is brought to you by the US Navy. There is no water in Kansas. Translation: Wichita traffic = TOR traffic.
