My boss just told me I'm going to be doing this next week: Welcome to Drone World Expo - Conference Overview
Turns out I need a new MAP & Knock sensor...
Guess I'll go buy a small tool set from vatozone for the MAP since that's easy enough. Is it possible to reach the Knock sensor from the bottom? Or go in from the top and remove the intake manifold ? Even for rockauto, they be speensive!
I reset my odb 2 days ago and the check engine codes popped up immediately

If I were doing it I'd pull the intake manifold. More time, but less frustrating than going in the bottom.
I've never heard of knock sensors going bad, so I'd expect there to be a huge pile of them at junkyards. I might even have one sitting in my spare parts box, since I've disassembled two short blocks for parts.

I pulled the engine out and started to tear it down.
I noticed some shiny flecks on the oil pickup strainer.
That was not a good moment.
Turns out #4 rod bearing is flaked.
I looked at it for a second and put the cap back on.
It was late, and that was not good news.
I'll check everything properly on Monday.
You guys OK with stock bearings, or do you think I have to go with ACL?

I just hope you can upload your own soundtrack. I want to hear a Tesla that sounds like it's got a bridge ported 20B in it.

Wood builders, have any of you attempted to build yourself a floating platform bed? Considering on taking on this task in the new apt, while also keeping it to were I can disassemble during the next move with out having it built as 1 giant piece. bed frame, box, back board?
Define "floating" - if you mean to say "attached only to the wall", then that's really unrealistic. I suspect that's not the case, though. You should be able to get bed frame hardware pretty easily that allows you to connect the frame either by slotted fasteners or conventional angle brackets. The bottom box can be assembled pretty easily this way, notch out the box for horizontal slats, if you notch your exterior frame/band boards, the left/right band boards should sit directly on top of the slats, and then fasten the headboard/foot band directly to the left right boards again with bed frame hardware. You may decide to run a screw from each slat into the band board notch to keep it from moving.
