Your memory is literally that short?
The apartment which I briefly inhabited in Santa Clara was much the same. Most of the outlets were still two-wire. A few had been replaced with three-wire receptacles, but they were not grounded. There was ONE circuit in the whole apartment which had been retrofitted later. A 20A breaker, one 20A receptacle in the bedroom, and one in the living room.
No grounded outlets in the kitchen or bathroom.
Is your wiring Cu or Al?
The song in the Prius commercial is the most pretentious, hipstershit I have ever heard. I get angry every time the commercial comes on. If I had a Prius in my sights, an ad like this would make me decide against it. That would never happen though, because the Prius is a **** car.
Oh wait, no they shouldn't. The current one already plays 20X per game on ESPN3. Enough already!

Not nearly as bad, and not really the same.
I'm mostly just irritated at the people who buy them who don't do any research or use any kind of rational thinking, and just go by what the commercials try to get across to them, which is that the Prius is the best thing ever, and is all sunshine and rainbows for the environment. In reality it's probably more harm overall than a cheap, lightweight standard car. I just hate that snobbishness than Prius drivers and people of that demographic have. "I'm saving the world with my Prius, what have you done for the world?" **** off, with your **** hybrid.

I have a nest of yellow jackets living in my walls.
Vital stats:
Aggressiveness: very aggressive
Nest population: 5000
Feed on: sweets, meats, beer
Threat: multiple stings per insect, will attack in angry groups when provoked
...
Just what I need. 5000 armed, angry, drunken yellow jackets living in my walls.

60% of the time, this works every time
- Go to the pool supply place and get a handful of diatomaceous earth
- Take a plastic bottle and cut it off 1" above the bottom. (Gatorade bottles work great for this)
- Put DE in plastic container
- Add liquid bees like (beer for example) to juuuust slightly over the level of the DE
- Zip up mansuit and place container as close to bee nest as you are willing to get
- ????
- Profit

Finalized the sale my 66 Mustang. The shell was a super clean "California car" that everyone lusts after but it had no drivetrain in it. I've owned at least one Mustang continuously since 1997 or 98. Money will go to Miata goodies, and I think I'm ok with this.
I've still got the built 302 if my brother decides he needs/wants the engine for his Bronco. Not sure what to do with the T5 and all the other parts I've accumulated. I've also got a Currie 8" with 4 spider posi and 3.55 gears in it, never installed. Craigslist seems like a huge pain in the posterior and I don't want to eBay this stuff and have to ship it anywhere. I wish we still had an automotive swap meet out here.

I have a strange desire to try to trade my 92 Miata for a work van or full sized suv. I keep sending random people emails on CL asking if they are interested in a trade. Hopefully I eventually find someone who is willing to trade.
