For $2k you could easily piece together a system comprised of new BEGi hard parts, a new chinacooler, and a used & rebuilt turbo or a new china charger. And still have money left over for a night at the strip club.

I know it's the minority around here.... I've got the original 4-rib kit for M1's... and I wouldn't change it (well outside of a TDR of course).

Definately get one of the newer 6-rib though. Much better belt alignment, etc....

TDR is a great upgrade... when I bought mine, I would have ordered one, but it wasn't available at the time.... and well I just haven't had the coinage to get one otherwise.

The I love the way the car drives.... <G>

Steel rat, it is the new one with the 6rib. And it is nice to get both the mp62 and the i/c for less than the price of the mp62 itself. It also comes with the big TB. Has a piggyback solution (ELF i know some had issues but its gotten the previous car running just fine and allows me to decide on what solution I would take in the future while the car is up and running)

Hustler, he is also selling a EMU with boomslang harness, and I am betting he he got stuff from Gary as he has the TDR intercooler.

Ben I find that hard to do for 2000k. I have tried pricing stuff together. I mean i can get hard parts for that but what about all the other stuff. (bolts, clamps, gauges, some sort of fueling/timing device remember NB not as to adjust timing, etc).

FM: I/c set up (yeah i know its cheaper though) 750. I dont have the provision to make my own i/c. Does stripes kit fit an NB?

thats close to 2000 while still missing various oil lines, etc.

Plus with the s/c i have to molest the car less. NO cutting my under tray no tapping my oil pan. Stuff I had to do on my NA that sucked once I went back to being non turbo on that car.

The BRP is very fun to drive, especially on an autox course. I've driven two of them now, and both of them were real hooligan cars - one I drove on the street, and one (Dave's, who posted above) on an autox course.

If you like the drivability of SC setups, then you'll love the BRP setup. They're definitely a different beast in terms of feel though.
