I sold a car, an engine/tranny, and three guitars in the past week.
Sold my 1993 Geo Metro convertible:
An engine/tranny out of a 1993 Geo Metro XFI parts car
And three of these guitars (Squier acoustic upper left, blue Fender strat 3rd from upper left, black Telecaster 2nd from lower right):
I'm very happy to have some cash and it is really nice to only have four cars again (two in the garage and ONLY two in the driveway). When I have five cars (which is pretty much all the time) it gets a little crowed around here.

BTW OP I'll get some pictures of a geo metro we have at the shop we've been ******* around with. This kid got it for 50 bux, we riced the hell out of it and have been doing stupid **** in it (burnouts, attempts at drifting, all kinds of ****) attempting to break it or blow it up and it still runs LOL.
I don't know what your fascination with geo metros is but I don't think I can come up with any single car that is more gay than a convertible geo. I mean it makes a miata look like a big block muscle car in the "manly" department.
No offense
*edit; LETS MAKE THIS THREAD INTERESTING: I challenge you gays to find a car that is gayer than a convertible metro.
GOGOGO
in before someone posts pics of my car hahahaha

Buy a convertible, rebuild the engine and then figure out that you want a tranny with a different gear ratio so you buy a pair of parts cars (they came as a set). Buy a hatchback because you are tired of driving the convertible and then buy another parts car because you need some parts for the hatchback. Now you are up to 5 Metros. They are so cheap (parts cars) that it is easy to build a collection really fast. I am down to only one now and use it as my DD for going back and forth to work. I save about $600 a year in gas (just on the drive to work) and keep 8000 miles of wear and tear off my Toyota Tacoma. The money I save isn't a lot but there is just something cool about driving for weeks at a time without stopping at the pump. I absolutely cannot stand putting $50 in gas in the truck. I'm not foolish enough to think that I am actually saving money at the pump (because in the end you are just breaking even when you have a cheap second car as a DD) but I've driven worse cars. How people do you know who have taken a trip and gotten 65 MPG on the HWY? It has been pretty good project and that is what is important to me. In the end it will be sold for a nice profit when fuel hits $4 again and I'll go back to driving whatever my newest toy is.

Just saying...
Yes, I like the way my Red Geo with tinted windows looks. I especially like how the 50 MPG bumper sticker I put on it stands out <G>.
Gay or not, the car is basically FREE to drive and may actually pay me. This is the first car I've ever owned that cost nothing to have around. It won't depreciate, it saves a ton on fuel, it costs $0 in repairs. The value of my pickup truck goes down $2,000 a year, the value of my Lava MSM goes down $1,500 a year and I'm paying $400 insurance on a car we put 2,000 miles on a year, the V8 Miata is a money pit in the fact that it will not get driven much, needs $1,000s in work done to it, and wastes gas like crazy. Responsibility and maturity have to kick in sometime. Anyone who would choose a sports bike over a Geo is neither. I'll let you young guys ride your crotch rockets. Hell, I might even stop to help scrape you up off the road when you wreck. Maybe we can put your leg in the back of my Metro - I don't really care if we get a little blood on the carpet because I have an extra one in my parts bin. Other than catching a little hell from friends and co-workers (and I laugh at them when they do it) the Metro is one hell of a car for many reasons. If they laugh too much I jump into the LS1 Miata and do a doughnut on their mother's bloody carcass to prove that I actually have more testosterone then they do.

So what's the point in saving/making a couple bucks here and there by driving/reselling geo metros when you're wasting a bunch of cash every month keeping the truck/msm/whatever else you got regd/insured/depreciating in your garage?
In the grand scheme of things you're not enjoying your nice cars AND paying to not enjoy them.
Is it all worth it? Cause it doesn't look that way from here.
