Those fugly *** colbalts are quick stock. Pulley, heat exchanger upgrades, programming of factory PCM.. Makes them monsters. As for the turbo cars....... Even more so.

2008 T3 Runoffs:
Qualifying Race
P1. S2000 P1. Cobalt SS

Sorry for the poor formatting. You must be talking about the '08 Runoffs, since that was the last time the Cobalt won. It was also the last year the races were shown on Speed, which I assume is the one you watched.

The S2000s listed are all CR spec AP2s w/ the 2.2L motor.

I'm a little biased but I will say the S2000 won in '09 and '10 because of the driver's and not the cars. Both cars were driven by extremely talented guys. The guy who won in 2010 drives in Grand AM and had finished on the podium at the runoffs multiple times.

The S2000 won't win T3 this year because they've been handicapped pretty severely. After last year the CRB gave the car a restrictor plate and smaller tires. The car with the lowest torque and HP in the class has even less now.

I believe the Cobalt that won in 2008 was a supercharged car. I believe the Cobalts running competetively in T3 now are turbo cars.
