I don't ******* get why people praise it for being "much cleaner way to selectively share data with others". I don't want to share selectively. I either want to share, or not share. Or send a private message. End of story.
The beauty of facebook is exactly that - you can find out about your friend's common interests you didn't think they may have had. Google+ is like the anti-social version of that. With it's circle jerks.

It is cleaner. FB is so ******* random. Google+ is gonna be a little lame until it goes public, but I'm switching. If I'm the only one then **** it I'll just circle jerk with myself. I'm so done with FB.

Well, Facebook chat seems more like simply adding a feature to an existing network. The most apt comparison (and one I'd be interested to see, since it failed spectacularly) would be Google's own Buzz. Does anyone actually use it? I've got it activated on my Google account, and I think it's pulling in my Tweets, but I never actively use it.
