For any of you that have a mouse that randomly flips out... aka just jumps to the bottom of the screen.

Check what surface your on. I know at work, the standard mouse pad has a weird change in color change. Any time the optical mouse would roll over that area it would cause the mouse to flip out. Made it really annoying when testing the game.

I swear by my Razer mice. I have a bunch of old ones I got off woot.com years ago and my main mouse is a Razer 3g (still kinda old). That and a decent corded keyboard are my stand bys. I gave up on wireless input devices a while back after 1 too many times of the **** dying on me when it was really important.

logitech mx518 - ive used it for years, went to buy another for a second PC, and can't find them anymore.

That being said, I refuse to buy a mouse that isnt connected via. cable. There is too much hassle involved in batterys and synching and etc.etc.etc. just for the sake of getting rid of the cord. The cord has never (ever) gotten in the way.

An old keyboard needs either cleaned or replaced. Generally speaking, a keyboard is a keyboard is a keyboard. You can buy more or less depending on the features you are looking for, but most keyboards get sticky and hard through years of use. You wont notice it easily, but your typing will suffer. If someone else sits down at your keyboard and types, they will notice immediatly that it is nearly impossible to type quickly, and they will get physically tired of typing after several minutes. Again, buy one with a cable connect.

G500 + DasKeyboard.

It's over. Done. Never buy another set of peripherals.

G500 = G5 body + G9x laser
DasKeyboard = Mechanical switches for increased feel and solid construction that can take a beating.

love my corded g5 and razor/microsoft reclusa keyboard

I tend to compute in a dark room, and the dim blue backlighting on the keys makes it so much easier to keep from hitting the wrong keys.

Bringing this back because I broke my MX3200 keyboard over my knee this morning and now I'm stuck using the laptop.

Any of you guys use either of these Logitech boards?

Solar powered keyboard - wireless

Amazon Amazon

Illuminated keyboard - wireless

Amazon Amazon

Although I love this laptop, using it at home will get old quick so I'm hoping to order the keyboard by tmr night.

Ohh and this Logitech Performance MX mouse has been great since the day I got it. ******* love it more than any other I've used. Takes my **** too. You know, the occasional smash to the top of the desk. The keyboard on the other hand.....that ******* thing is in shambles laying on the ground outside the window. lol
