Motorola Droid

I don't get it either. I have a Samsung Eternity that I use Pandora on ALL the time and I also watch TV (Flot TV) on everyday. I never have any issues.

I have had a droid since launch day. I have also been a verizon subscriber for as long as I have had a cell phone and Verizon has never given me a reason to want to switch providers. So far I have been extremely happy with the droid. I have actually convinced 3 or 4 friends to switch from the iPhone to the Droid and none of them have missed the iphone.
As for choosing between the droid and the Eris I would go with the droid. Running android 2.0.1 is much nicer then running android 1.6. This weekend I will probably try the hack to upgrade to Android 2.1.

Same, stream Pandora on my 26 mile commute, and 30 mile commute to my girlfriend's. Everywhere actually. iPhone. Apparently the NY coverage for AT&T sucks. Here in Oregon it's awesome. There's some mountain ranges where there's no signal, but that's for everyone.
P.S. I hate the droid ads. They make it out to be a ground breaking phone.
"the droid has a huge screen." So does the iPhone.
"the droid has access to thousands of apps." So does the iPhone.
"the droid, DOES." What exactly? Everything the iPhone does? Ever since the O.S. on the iPhone was updated with copy/paste and picture messaging (among other things), I can think of no reason to switch, mine's been amazing.

The Droid has a flash with its camera, so take that.

Yes, posting from it now. This phone plus Verizon's 3g coverage means that I will be streaming Pandora and surfing online the whole way from Tampa to Panama City Beach.
My only gripe is the physical keyboard. It can blow sometimes, but. I might also just need to give it time.

I have only needed to call someone once while I was browsing the web. That was at 5am on black Friday trying to see if any Dicks Sporting goods stores in the Raleigh NC area had 380 ammo in stock. Other then that if I am talking on my phone it is next to my ear. So I don't really understand the issue with not being able to talk and browse the web at the same time.
Ohh yah if anyone wants some roms for their droid shoot me a pm. It a ton of fun to play super mario on it and watch the iPhone kids get jealous.
