DIs/TIs dont phase me for some reason, never have. I just had the ill do it whether or not you yelled at me attitude. I cant remember how many times a instructor thought I wanted to fight, and I met my sis's DI, yeah she was tough but I didnt fear her... maybe its because im kind of an ------- at heart and dont give a ---- what branch you are in, just as long as it has "U.S." on the name tape thats all that matters.

I'll have my brother get it to either you or viperormiata, as long as you give me your word that you will not send me anything that will get me in trouble.
Items that might get me in trouble:
Letters in normal sized white envelopes with no markings other then an address, return address and stamp.
Nothing that makes noise.
No ---- shaped candy, or candy of any sort. Also nothing ---- shaped.
No packages.
No goddamn pineapples.
Just letters in envelopes.
No pics that you wouldn't show your grandma.
No ---- picks (I don't know your grandma, I ain't gonna judge)
Nothing that you think might get me in trouble or get me IT'd.*
Nothing that you know will get me in trouble or get me IT'd.*
*IT = incentive training, its when the drill instructor gets tired of your face and decides to make you do rigorous exercise as a punishment.

At Navy OCS, our drill instructors were Marine Corps Sergeants. I can proudly say I was a member of Honor Class 26-00, Gunnery Sergeant Erwin, USMC. Towards the end of training, he occasionally displayed a sense of humor, which usually meant that I was about to be very dirty.
I'm top row, third from left... 11.5 years and 40lbs ago, although I've lost about 25lbs in the past year, still another 20 or so to go. I'm not going to kid myself that I'll ever be in that kind of shape again, leaving OCS at about 195lbs (I'm a couple millimeters shy of 6'5"), peaking in 2008 at around 260lbs, and currently 235, with about 20lbs to go by Christmas. The wife is starting to keep careful track of my waistline and rewards me with... well... things wives reward husbands with for incentives to lose weight.
Save the inflatable sheep and lube you got at Sam's Club for when I hit the fleet, then, please by all means send it. I will leave it in somebody elses room so it'll be found during an inspection.
Speaking of inflatable things, my brother got back from PI we got him a blow up doll. That night he drank 6 "sodas" a few really small but really strong "sodas" and 3 (yes 3) 16.8 oz Monster energy drinks. He threw up a lot that night.
You can easily get 20lbs off in 7.5 months, although I imagine your job doesn't always allow for the healthiest of eating & exercise habits.

A long time ago when somebody on the forum was at either Navy or Air Force basic Joe Perez brought up the idea of sending him a pineapple. Joe is a smartass and I don't want a pineapple while at bootcamp, so pineapple goes on the list.

I've advocated the mailing of coconuts before (click my sig) but I'm pretty sure I never suggested that someone mail a pineapple.
If you send me a coconut, I will send you a coconut every day, and a gummy ***** every Monday, just to get the week started off right.
I live in a fucked up place
Thanks. We couldn't send anything to my brother other then letters, but letters would be appreciated, especially if you want the inside scoop on bootcamp.
I'm east of the Mississippi so I'm goin to Parris Island, 1st battalion probably. There are 4 training battalions, 1st-3rd are all male, 4th is all female. 3rd is supposedly the hardest (my bro was 3rd Bat. Lima Co. Plt. 3009) and 2nd is supposedly the easiest. 4th is the hardest of all because female DI's are completely evil, and 4th is a female battalion.

I would die laughing if someone did this from here to Shear. If someone does, they must get it on video.
