Angry Some little f#$%in bastards broke into my Miata

So I was working on my turbo street car Miata for a few days and decided to put my spec miata in my driveway with the car cover on it. I come outside a few days later (the day it was going back in the garage) and my car cover is laying in my neighbors lawn and my hood is open. Not sure what they took other than my $200 laptimer. Dumbasses saw the digital display and cut it off not realizing that you needed the sensor to make it work. Thank god I had taken my data acq system out or that would have been over $1,000. Oh I wish I had caught the little bastatrds. Still checking to see if they messed anything else up but the car ran and it seemed ok when I drove it around the block.

Stupid kids. And even though I still am a teenager, I'd have to say most people my age are ******* morons and would certainly do something like that. Hopefully they didn't screw up anything else on you!

I'd bet you a $1000 that it is someone who lives on your street. If you need a gun, Philip has some..............

Shitty, check craigslist and ebay for local sales. Maybe you can catch them yet.

You're ******* right about that. It hasn't happened to me yet, but I've got quite a few friends, my parents, old neighbors that had **** stolen from kids right on their street.
A year ago, a buddy around the corner came out to find every emblem on his '03 Cobra ripped off and the paint scored (kid used a screwdriver). He put out letters in mailboxes all around neighborhood. The next day, a local parent brought his kid over and a plastic bag full of broken cobra emblem parts. The dad found the kid trying to superglue them back together in his room. The dad was honorable... and sold off all of the kids **** (bike, TV, bedroom furniture, sports equipment, baseball card collection, basicaly everything) to pay for a full repaint.

SMRacer, I'd start by putting out a flyer in every mailbox within a few streets and see if you're not the only one... maybe even figure out who it is.

I was at a party a few years ago. Party was at one of the largest houses, if not the largest, in a very wealthy country club north of Atlanta. This country club is very large with 2 golf courses, equestrian facilities (horses), helo landing pad, vineyard & winery, etc. Entrances are access controlled with gates, card scanners, and gaurd shacks. Once inside, the country club is broken into different housing price groups, starting from expensive, going to real expensive, and then uber expensive. The uber expensive houses are behind their own set of gates, and are around their own private golfcourse; this area is called Legends. So to get to the Legends, you have to go through 2 sets of access control gates. Typical residents are CEOs, business owners, several athletes (quite a few Falcons).

So I'm at a party in this big *** 20k sq ft house in the Legends. Great party, the wives are all powdering their noses and showing what high maintenance ***** they are. There were also many young women, too young & pretty to really be with the guys that they were with. Pool's open and tops were optional. Everyone's getting drunk as there was more alcohol at this house than at many resturants.

That's when a guest notices the group of kids running out of the yard, with flat panel TV's in tote. Seems they entered into the basement, took 4 tv's off the walls, and ran off. Guests ordered their Limo drivers to chase the kids down. ******* hilarous. Limos speeding down the street, one skreeching to halt sideways across the street in front of the kids, others coming in from the sides, and boxing up the rear. The kids were neighbor's kids who also lived in the Legends section of this country club. All millionaire's kids. ******* amazing.
