haha on VW's the reverse gear is the one where you push the stick down towards the floor and then up towards first. i knew a guy who did the same thing while racing a tiptronic eclipse.....the guy in the eclipse also left it in neutral accidentally so when they gunned it the VW went in reverse and the eclipse thought he was whoopin *** for like 3 seconds
