Zack sold me his used GC coilver sleeves/collars/springs and NB top hats.
From his item description, the only issue with the setup was one blown shock.
What I received were the springs and NB top hats... in the expected condition.
However, three of the four sleeves were unusable.
Two have stripped out allen head locking screws, a third one (while not stripped) is locked up good and tight and refuses to come out.
But hey, at least one of the four collars could be loosened up and adjusted.
When I mentioned this to Zack, he immediately reminded me that all used parts are sold "as-is" and then had the nerve to remind me how much new ones were.
Oh, and he also suggested I could buy some sleeves for under $50.
Thankfully GC has replacement collars for $22 each (and $22 for the nuts? HAH!)
So. You know. This "deal" ended up costing me as much as brand new Eibach Springs, NB top hats, and a set of decent (new) non-GC coilover sleeves.
It'll be the last time I buy anything from this guy... and hey. Congratulations Zack, you're the first guy from a Miata forum who has sold something to me without stating their obvious condition.
"Oh, you know, the collars don't adjust anymore but whatever.... they're $429 BRAND NEW" would have been an honest representation of the condition.

the spring collars are in tact and work fine.
-they came of the car at a .5in drop from oem car ride level
- unless he wanted to put a 3-4 in lift on the car then he might need new sleeves
- they arrived ready to put on set at the correct ride height, nothing needs to be adjusted
- he never said anything about stripped screws, which were fine when i had them, guess hes never worked with allen screws before = he stripped them :I
- he paid 200$ for a 450$ kit which is in good condition, the springs are pictured in the add, and he had plenty of time to look at them and decide.
he also got a good set of top hats and hardware
also it cost me 40$ to ship and 9$ because he could not figure out how to send money via paypal
