Yes it was a red vette maybe there were 2 drivers in that car. I talked to Eric about it to appologize for breaking the rules on passing and I was told that were other complaints and issues with that driver. yes the Vette was braking way early going up the hill too taking a wide line at the top and I have no idea what he was thinking in turn 5 at all. Since he was not letting me pass he would not have been racing his mirrors would he?

Is the PCA event roster full yet? I have seen a few PCA events at H2R and they put a lot of cars on that track.

The S2K people run a good event but they really do not like letting the Miatas pass in the past event I would run into 4 or 5 people that would either not give a point by or that would pass you and then slow down once they had open track and no line to follow :-(

I had NO clean laps on Saturday and a best time of 1:35 and only 101mph going up the hill plus I think our 3rd session was run completely under a yellow flag.

I bet it was horrific to come down the big hill in the rain.

If idiots can't point, then they still get passed. We pay good money for track time, they can get over it when they get passed.

We need to start running tracks in Cali.

Up the Hill in the rain was worse as you were going against the current! Turns 10 and 11 were a bit slippery turns 6 and 8 had standing water.

It was pretty hairy the first lap. Brake, early turn in, hmm I hope I don't go too wide.

It would be scarier going CCW in the rain and braking at the end of the long down hill.

[QUOTE=hustler;453740]Yeah, that **** is fun...but with a proper driver those cars will crush us.[/QUOTE

yeah they are both good driver's, but the gt3 is still more car than he knows what to do with. vettes not as fast, (stock z06 w/ pads and tires) but it was due more to the track. a tight track means less advantage for the big hp cars. especially if they weigh a bit. both of those cars probably weigh 4-500lbs. more than mine or yours.

here's a vid from session 4. it started raining again which made for yet another track condition. that downhill wasn't scary at all really. it was the fast sweeper (turn 6) and bend in frt. of hot pit lane leading to and including turn 1 with huge amounts of water draining across them that were freaky.

With all that tire and brake why the hell was the driver of the Vette in Yellow and still braking that early going up the hill? The driver in Blue for that Vette was also braking super early going up the hill.

Yes nice video, thanks for posting it.
So, I have to know, what in the hell is that third gauge to the right in your on-dash pod?

a geiger counter.

you know, i've never liked embedded youtube videos. i think it's because if it's something i want to see in full screen, it takes 2 more keystrokes to do it. that's pretty lazy huh? lol

i don't know why they were slowing down so early. only thing i can think of is that they were put into yellow because of the car, not the ability. and if one of them was already in blue group they didn't wanna put the other in green.
