Dammit, I didn't get to see you guys, and I had lots of beer to spare.

Doppleganger, I am almost certain that I passed by you, that had to be you...**** happens so fast up there in those turns, by the time I realized it you were already out of sight...we were very unorganized this year (well and last year lol) next time, we have to set up a meet just for the MT.net crowd. Drink some beers, build a huge bong fire, etc.
I went with 3 of my closest friends (no, not that close) and we had a blast, we had about a 5-6ft. fire going, roasting hotdogs and downing Coronas...acting fools, it was awesome. Next year, we should all get together and party, maybe even bring some females for entertainment.

Yup, that was def. me on the road between Fontana and 129. I recognized you immediately but was unable to take my hands off the wheel lol. I had fun for the most part. I did get a ticket, but that's an issue for another day. Sat. night was rather fun as Jenn and I threw back some beers and played some bocce ball up at Fontana. The only thing that sucked for me was my alignment. Somehow or another i failed to realize that it went to **** in the past month or so. I haven't hit anything either. The problem was realized somewhere on Blood Mtn. Turns out that the caster on the drivers side is about 1" further back than the pass. side , which caused the car to make AWESOME right turns but on lefts it would squeal like hell and understeer...along with a lovely popping sound that was NOT my sway bar shifting.

I realized it was you once it was too late, I was headed back to the camp to pack up, couple of my friends wanted to leave, I would have loved to stay saturday night as well.
Speaking of alignment, I have never algined my car, so mine must be somewhat off as well I am sure, I need to do that, but first i need to do my bushings/bearings/joints, my car was making all kinds of noises in the turns, but I still had a blast.
My V1 cable died, so i borrowed my friends, it saved my *** twice, the cops are ******** up there.

We have to plan a get together later this year, lots of people in reasonable driving distance, no excuses will be tolerated!!! haha

Let me know when that is. I hope to be in the CLT area full time later this year if someone buys my townhouse. (Like that'll happen anytime soon. This living between NC and FL thing really sucks.

Not sure, I was hammered by midnight...did make a beer-run around 9:30-10 to the TN side and drove in the dark...man, my lights suck ***, they are the cheapest NAPA lights you can buy...terrible, and it was really apparent up there.

no, I went to CR at the Gap actually not M@TG

Everyone thought... "hey that guy has 300hp, lets put him up front!" and I only managed to convince some guys with experience to go ahead of me. So here I am on stock suspension, a bit out of it, but not wanting to be a wuss, and psyched for a midnight run. There are 3 or 4 cars ahead of me, and like 10 behind me.... I'm trying not to hold everyone up, so I went for it.... tried to keep a couple cars ahead of the guy behind me. I did what I could to stay out of boost in corner exits, but on an off camber right over a hill crest I overcooked it on the throttle and the car damn near spun off a cliff!

I managed to get the car on course again, cut the upcoming left narrow and said **** everyone else, I'm going slow the rest of the time.
