Miatas at ORP: Sep 7/8 2013
Turn2 Lapping is having a weekend double-header in September at ORP. I plan on attending, and even have the blessing of Ms Mobius.
Those who have driven this track know how awesome it is. Those that have not, come find out.
My plan at this time is to camp at the track, BBQ Friday and Saturday night.
Let's get as many Miatas there as we can!

Registration is through Motorsportreg.com here.
They claim 3 hours of runtime per event, so roughly 80% more than an HPDE day. The per-day cost is higher than a "normal" day at PIR, but the cost/time ratio is about the same. And they feed you lunch, which is nice.

Mobius Thanks for the heads up, I well probably be there, to far off toplan yet. Tom is also there on the 6 and 7th of July. You need to come up to the Ridge once. Brian and I run there alot with Turn 2. Did you make it to ORP with them on April 27 and 8. I wanted to but that was the same weekend as Miatas at Leguna Seca. You need to plan on doing that some year, over 200 miatas this year.

I usually can't do weekend events but in September I should be able to. I have travel plans at the end of August and usually do the private day with Eddie at PIR around that time so I'll need to find some money in the budget and hope the car doesn't do anything expensive in the meantime. Like John said, it is too early to register on my end but keep us posted. +1 on coming up to the Ridge. That track is a hoot too. We should be embarrassed at how may great choices we have within 5 hours. If they ever pave Pacific, it will be 4 quality tracks to choose from between the two states.
