He is generally on 225/45-15 r888's in the yellow turbo running on 8-inch wheels. and if it makes you feel better or worse, his cars are the exact same weight as yours. he does 0 weight savings this side of what is needed for door bar clearance and pulling carpet. my car with him in it was 2424# with driver and 5/8 of a tank when he corner balanced it.

2:03 at ECR is a great time man, nothing miserable about that. 2:03 is what ken0 runs in his awesome BMW on street tires, he needs hoosiers to get under that. Hell anything under 2:00 out there is real race car territory. my best ever in the Boss 302 was a 2:04and change on street tires, but it was a fluke., i was generally at 2:08-2:10. I'm hoping to hoon the new car to a 2:06 or so at least on the 23rd, if i get it back in time. mostly because that is faster than the other guys i know that drive Boss 302s and scoffed when i sold mine for a miata.

I saw enough blown-up Mustangs this year and last that I would probably stay away from them and you probably made a good decision.

yes, but i have a roll bar and can trailer it home which adds +5 bravery. track it again, i don't know anyone off dfw autoclub and dfw miata that isn't too big a puss to go to the track with me. in fact, 23rd at ecr still has spots, i want to see your car run... and steal your suspension when you go in to drop a stinky load.

Thanks, but that time is not great because that's at 250whp, not 210whp which is TTB legal. Ken was 10-seconds faster than me at ECR the last time I was there and we're in the same class. I think you will approach a 2:00 with time and definitely with Hoosiers.

PS in each ECR driver meeting, the head instructor Brian something or other gives the if you see a miata in the mirror, point it by speech. if your car is green it's you he is talking about lol. true story. he specifically mentioned a green miata and a yellow one that is out there frequently "beating up faster cars".
That is a clean looking race car...
Btw is it me, or is the driver fender a different color from the rest of the car?

just watch him drive in the wet, it's like, what water? im still going to go faster than you.
My montego 96 (has silver stripes now IIRC) is the cousin to those. i sold it to kieth when it was totalled in a small accident when he was putting together a few to test out the spec turbo thing.

if you spent much time out there a few years ago, im sure you saw my current silver NB driven in the grass alot by the PO according to the amount of grass I have cleaned out of it... had rpf1's and gay bright blue seats in it. was supercharged, heavy set guy. did alot of de's and track instruction days.
