Talking Its about that time...

...to introduce myself instead of lurking.

I finally made enough large purchases toward going turbo that i'm kind of bound to it now. Was just kind of waiting for that before I started posting.

Here is my car:

(just washed before the suspension/lowering)

(Dirty in my old garage with poor lighting at a bad angle)

Looks like I need to get out and take some better pictures of my car. Didn't realize that all I had was shitty *** pictures.

Things I have already done to my car:
-Newly rebuilt engine (less than 1k still on it). Built to stock specs. Balanced, bored (not sure what my machine shop bored it to) etc. Assembled by me, installed by me.

-KYB AGX with (new) FM springs, FCM hardware (upper and lower adjustable mounts and bumps)

-1.8 Brakes with Hawk HPS pads

-1.8 Clutch (stock)

-Autopower rollbar

-Hardtop Painted Black w/rustoleum

-16" Konig Britelites w/205-45-16 Falken ziex 512

Here is what I have waiting to go in the car:

-SR20 T25: I need to clock it. Going to buy the HKS Actuator and i hear BEGI sells the bracket that i'll need?

-BEGI Manifold and SS Divorced Downpipe purchased from a forum member

-In the middle of my megasquirt assembly (MS1 v3). I will likely have questions on that later. This was kind of out of my realm but i'm knee deep in it now so might as well continue. I think I have a pretty good grasp of it so far.

I guess what I still need to really get going with all this is:

-Water/Oil lines
-New WG actuator and bracket to clock the turbo
-Intercooler/pipes (ebay)
-WB02

and eventually
-1.8 rear/RX7 Clutch type diff
-Stronger Clutch
-Who knows...

The budget is going to start running dry here soon as i'm no longer a consultant and returning to student life. My car and my new TV were kind of my last hoorah before going back to brokedom.

Thats about it for now. Next time you see me it will likely be in the MS forum

Thanks, I may need it.

As for the wheels, I get that compliment a lot and obviously I like them a lot too. I'm very surprised that I haven't ever seen another set in person and hardly ever see people on the forums wearing them. 15lbs each isn't TOO bad for 16s either.
