Default hello all new to this boosting stuff

hello all i have a 93 miata LE my name is ken 24yrs old.

i plan on just boosting with that greedy kit and... see how it goes first.

i have tein flex suspencion 9K front 6k rear. + edfc and have a JR headers, trust cat back exhaust.
i am a student and i have been reading the forums... etc.. and i guess later on to upgrade parts to boost little bit more.. like the plug n play megasquirt or have somebody make a DIY one.

i just picking up parts here and there
- 460 cc rx7 NA injectors red tops.

plan on buying a greedy kit tomrrow w/ IC, w/ exhaust / rx7 injectors 460cc.. for 550 i think itll be overkill run the 460cc injectors.. ill stay with the stock and run low boost first... until i get the megasqurit ill change the injectors and fuel pump later...

approx 5k miles on the setup.

good deal??

anyways i was reading the manual

it said.. instruction manual states that it's for non-ABS cars only

why is that? and im guessing you can probally do it anyways..

thanks.
and yea ive been up since 2am reading and researching...

Welcome! Not a bad first post except punctuation and capitalization go a long way around here. It shows you don't mind putting in a little effort to be here.

Put your location in your profile so people know where you're at. Someone might be close to you that could give you a hand.

As far as the turbo kit, if it has an IC and injectors, 550 doesn't sound too bad at all. As long as it's in decent shape.

update w/ a photo of my car.. so u can see what i am working with..

been trying to get a hold of Braineack to get a MS build but no luck... is it because I'm too NOOB to get a response?

how can i get a hold of him? try... PM, post in his DIYPNP thread as well.

other than that.

i did pick up the Greddy kit w/ FMIC.

i've already made cuts to the manifold, and need to contact ARtech for some pluming for the oil lines for the turbo.

i've also been hunting parts to bulid a COPS, i found a ignition pack for spare and found a VTPS later for the MS

Clean *** car! I think you will be happy with the greddy setup if you add a bigger downpipe to your list. Go MS ASAP, band aids are lame and give you aids.
