Newish from Mass
used to lurk around here years ago (2003ish?)
Now I'm formally introducing myself.
I've got a classic red 1990, 1.6. Bought the car from the original owner when I was 16, threw the turbo on at 17, drove it from a summer when I was 18 and then it sat for the past 7 years as a time capsule to my youth.
Caught a glimpse of it collecting dust in the back of the garage last month and realized it's a nice solid, salt free car which deserves a good flogging. Now I'm piecing it back together.
As an aside, got your pm Devin, however, my noob status has left me unable to respond. Glad to hear my Dad's old car is still around - always did lust the merlot.
here's some rather nostolgic images - the 2 mega pixel photos might as well be polaroids. As it was put away back in '03.

Went to college in Boston so good ol' fashion pedal power fit the bill - plus I was broke.
Then I starting collecting grown up pay checks and considered putting it back on the road, however, when I went to the dealer for some parts I decided to take a Speed 3 for a drive for ***** and giggles. After some haggling they cut me a deal on a left over for $17,700. Couldn't pass it up and the miata got sidelined.
Now the 3 is all payed off and I can revisit my first love.

OMG I just cried. I lusted after your stripped interior years ago when I did mine. Has that car seriously sat for 7 years?!? Man, and now I've lost my pics of the interior...still have some?
