A lurker no more
Hi, alert
I figured I should say hello seeing as how this is my second post. Can't hide anymore.
I suppose that I already have two strikes against me. First, I'm English, second I live in Toronto, Canada so I may as well go for three by admitting to preferring superchargers to turbo.
I bought my BRP62 kit used from Quebec last May and took until this February to install it, no point rushing these things. I've been gradually doing mods since I bought my 2000 used with 12,000km and aged 6 months. Started with brakes, suspension, swaybars, rollbar, seats, A/C (? - new girlfriend, nuff said) and now boost.
I've been AutoXing and lapping for the last two years - I started late in life after escaping from an anti-car marriage so it's less of a mid-life crisis and more of a "time to catch-up crisis" - or so I keep telling myself. I'm a member of both Toronto Miata clubs Miataphiles and Trillium. The following pics are BarbyCar at Fontana, Deals Gap (Tail of the Dragon), BarbyCar's Rollbar install and Competing at PITL AutoX.
Enough rambling, I'm glad I found you guys even if you are all misguided turbo types.

The rims in the AutoX picture are Lenso 13x7 shod with 710s. I have 15x7 Enkei shod with RA1 for lapping and 16x7 Advanti with 615 for street. I have 16x7 TE37 on order, they should be here May 1. The stock NB rims are now mounted on my better half's stock '93.
