Default Hi, I'm a huge gay.

Hi, I'm Chris.

Roughly a week ago I bought a 91 miata with 37k miles. No rust anywhere on it was pretty much garaged it's entire life. I'm coming from a speed 3 that was fully bolted (i, dp, fp, tune, e85 etc) and making >300whp. Love the miata, but **** me it's so slow in any way other than turning the wheel. I forsee a turbo in my future and came here to get learned.

Plans as of right meow:
a. begi shanghai s & ebay cxracing fmic
b. begi exhaust mani, downpipe, used t25, rx7/8 injectors cx racing turbo kit and a megasquirt from lex (stratified tuning).

What say you guys? Obviously I plan on reading a fuckton more and I'm sure my plans will mature. Thanks for the super radical forum.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

2 of the best things you could mention in an intro thread.

What are your goals for the car? Are there any quantifiable targets (e.g. weight-to-power ratio, trap speed, dyno number, etc)?

What about activities? Are a boatload of track days in your immediate future? A random autocross or two? Just cruising for street people and doing burnouts?

Are those 16 inch wheels? Post better pictures. I like white miatas.

Megasquirt first. Turbo later.

Congrats on switching to RWD (Right Wheel Drive).

Well, I'd like to keep it a reasonably comfortable dd. Honestly right now I'd be content with maybe 150whp, just don't want to feel like such a ------ when I'm trying to pass people.

I'd like to begin autocross as well. Once I finish school up next year and I'm making some more money I'll probably pick up a turbo diesel 6 as a dd and then I can get loco with the miata.

I'm just amazed that supercooper didn't double-post. I think that's the first time I've ever seen just 1 post from him in a row.
