New but not a noob
I tried to stay away from here, but I just couldn’t resist. I even deleted the bookmark… oh well
My Miata was purchased about a year and a half ago on impulse because a coworker needed to unload it (1996 Montego Blue, power everything). It is/was supposed to be my DD beater. Doesn’t work too well when you’re a “car guy.” Only mods so far include stickier tires, coilovers and an aggressive alignment.
I’m back here because I’m lusting after boost and wish to exploit you for your knowledge and the classifieds of course. If things work out, this weekend, I hope to be the owner of a Garrett 2554 and an FM manifold (would have been an FM downpipe as well but this kit was on an NB before, doh). If it happens, so begins another money-pit project on a car worth diddly **** (the CRX that my name comes from was the first pit and I loved it).
[brag] I also own a 2005 Evo that doesn’t get driven much [/brag]
