Edit out the 23rd word in this post.

God help you, you've got it on your windshield too.

Good luck here.

I was thinking about it, and I feel like it's not even drifting that most of us have a problem with. I think it's the fact that every 16 year old that has ever managed to do a doughnut in a parking lot claims to be a leet drifter.

Yes, if you say "drift" you're more than likely going to get ripped a new one; but I feel like the same thing would happen if you came on here saying you're a track driver after you've run 1 autocross event, or you're a drag racer after you managed to pull off a sub 17 1/4 mile pass.

Go ahead and post a video of you tearing up a couple local drift events and more than likely get some respect from most people here. Until then, we can only assume that you're like every other 16 year drifter with a 90whp miata that enjoys ripping the ebrake to execute a breathtakingly uncontrollable slide into a nearby curb. No offense and welcome to the site.

Welcome to the board. I think Pdexta's got it right. I don't have a problem with drifting at all. I went to a drift show and had a great time. But, the majority of people who come here and say they are drifters have no idea what's going on at all.

Typical "drifter": Hey guys, I'm planning to turn the miata for drifting, and I'm planning to do "A", what do you all think?

Member 1: That's a terrible Idea, B is a better option.

Member 2: I've tried that, and like Member 1 said, you really should do B.

Member 3: A won't work because "logical fact 1", "logical fact 2", and "logical fact 3". I've got experience with option B, and it's exactly everything you've stated you want.

Typical drifter: Thanks guys, After reading your responses, I think I'm going to go with option A.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Drifters typically do everything in their power to be contrary to what this board is about (performance) in spite of our attempts to put them on the right track, and then they bitch, whine, moan, and complain when their **** breaks, doesn't handle, doesn't drive, and generally just turn their car into a steaming pile of ****.

Yeah you're wrong, there's a few 93 1.8's.

Also I have a 1996 EUNOS Roadster. The Eunos Roadster branding wasn't dropped in Japan until the MK2 came out in 1999

JDM were always branded 'Eunos Roadster' since they rolled off the production line in 89 until the NB, at which point they became 'Mazda Roadster' until either the mk2.5 OR the NC... (Can't remember which)

UKDM and Europe, they have always been 'Mazda MX5', but we have shitloads of JDM's here...

USDM - 'Mazda Miata' until NC I believe.
