I may be known to a few people on here from other forums. I didn't join here sooner because, well, I don't own a turbo Miata! I do own a 2000 SE with a JR M45 setup, along with some other modifications done by a previous owner. The car is a blast, but then I expected no less from a Mazda. I am a confirmed fan, currently owning four (I would own 5 but my wife said the Protege had to go if I wanted a Miata. So, I sold it to my oldest son!). Since I know it will be asked, I have: 1981 RX-7 GS, 2006 Speed6 GT, 2006 RX-8 GT (the wife's but since I wrench on it, I claim it). The 7 and Speed6 were purchased new.

Most of my time here will be spent gleaning what knowledge I can, and to offer up any help that I can. I'm looking forward to being a part of another enthusiast Mazda forum.

Well good first post. I think that you could sell that supercharger on miata.net and pic up a turbo fairly cheap. There is a plethora of information here if you are able to make it through all the crudeness.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm going to stick with the 'charger on this car, I already have one turbo and will have a second whenever I get around to the RX-7. My biggest problem is always wanting to improve things which tends to eat up a lot of money. I'd do better to get rid of some vehicles (I also have four motorcycles) but I can never bring myself to sell anything.

Welcome.

Boost is boost, some boost is just better. We tend to have a focus on engine management, which applies to all forced induction.

Welcome, put your location in your profile and throw up some pictures of the miata. I am thinking of getting a speed6 for a baby hauler.

Hadn't looked at this in a while since there wasn't any activity.

I think for now I'll just lurk here and pick up what info I can. No need to go into my reasons.
