Cool New miata owner- AZ

Hey guys!

My name is Randy, and I am located in casa grande, AZ. Ive been lurking on here for a couple months now. Lots of great info that I have absorbed. I actually just purchased my first Miata from a friend, and I love this car. Here is a little about it.
1990 Miata
1.8l swapped (from a 95)
Garret GT25060R
Voodoo fuel controller
MSD boost retard box
FM stage 1 fan kit
FM stage 2 clutch
FM 10.5lb flywheel
Torsen LSD (from a 97)

Theres a few more things but no need to bore you guys with the same stuff you see all the time. The car was taken very well care of, and I am the 3rd owner. I do not plan on doing very much more with it, its super fun the way it is, but I would like to add a few things (mostly cosmetic).

I look forward to being fairly active on here, that way I can learn a lot more and contribute to the community!

Welcome. I like the part where you said you wont do much more. Sounds like a good setup but be careful power is an addictive thing.

I would switch to a MS3 and some larger injectors. Turn up the boost to about 220whp and then just drive and enjoy the car.

I got a kick out of this after I read it. I can say I have many plans for the Miata, but getting it done is another story lol.

Thanks for the welcome!

MS3 is on my “to-do” list for sure. I priced some some rx7 injectors as well. Not sure what I want to do.

Wierd thing for me, I am almost scared do anything with it. To be honest this is my first project car and I have no clue where I even want to start. Though I am having a ton of fun just boosting around town.

Easy: MS3
Tuning has a learning curve so it's the best place to start. That way, when you want to add some real power, you'll be ready. With that engine-turbo-clutch combo, you are in good shape already.

Welcome! Good looking car. There's a great track community here, both NASA and ProAutoSports have events just about all year long. After you explore the roads up north and get bored, come out to some events and you'll find a whole new way of having fun with the car.

Another vote for standalone ECU and injectors. Flow Force or Injector Dynamics won't let you down.

I'm in Chandler. Track crowd.

Welcome!

Another vote for MS3 and... well, you get the idea!

I'm in Prescott, but hit the track in Phx pretty regularly. There's a pretty good Miata Parts group on FailBook in Phx... lots of stance BS and junk, but I've scored some good deals off it.
