YOU ARE not going to want to spec race a 60,000 mile car...... Get a beater to do that.

It took forever to find a mirror for my car, around here. Everyone loses them spec racing. They get serious and gang banging here. They beat those cars up.

I would throw that kit on this afternoon, and a heat shield. And race it with people who won't jack your car up.

The turbo inhances and makes the whole car better. Even at 5 psi. with an extra 40hp to the ground, is like throwing a V6 in it.

And as long as you set the timing right and have a FMU. It won't hurt the life of the motor any. And the car is dead reliable.

You can upgrade for more boost later. But in reality, even with stock suspension. It will way out handle my Z28.

I can bolt that turbo up and be done in less than 3 hours.

You mine-as-well play with the big boys.

Welcome!

3B, what Corbeau is that, how is it mounted (on sliders?), and HOW LOW do you sit in it? Is it just about on the floor? Pretty comfy? Good enough for 3 hrs? Maybe more pics of that bad boy?

**Sorry, I'm a douche, read it's a forza. Other questions still apply.

The seat BARELY fits, one of the wings of the seat hits the doorpanel.
And that shot was just a test fit, It will get bolted to the floor as Im the only person that drives the car, so figure it'll be about .5 inches higher (for the bracket), which isnt high at all!

With that seat in the car, without rails, its really really low.
After putting the stock seat back in, I felt like I was sitting so high up! unreal.
The cool thing about the Forza is that the butt panel velcros in and out.
with it in its pretty comfy (for a racing seat!) with it out, you can feel the springs under the seat, but you sit about 1.5-2 inches lower.

Im 5.7. Sitting in the seat on the floor (without non sliding brackets), without the butt panel, I have tons of headroom, like Im in a church!

Sorry to be so long winded, but I have yet to install the seat because I have yet to install the rollbar. Dont hate me cuz I havent installed it for real yet.

Oh and Webby, I sat in it for 1.5 hours straight playing video games (my other use for racing seats) without the buttpad and man, my A$$ was asleep!
Its def more comfortable with the pad inplace. But beware, I dont think it'll pass the "broomstick" rule with the corbearu slider kit (raises the seat to stock height or maybe even higher!) Thats why Im mounting it to the floor.

I'll shoot more pics for ya soon!

3B, PM sent.

The Corksport has a baffle that stuffs in the end of the pipe with one allen bolt, it was about the best $25 I spent on the car to date. Available directly from corksport. I put it in on long hauls, and pull it off at the track/autocross. That exhaust must be pretty loud n/a.
