Now that sounds like a winner to me. I will be looking around for one then.

I have been looking into the 8.8 rear end some more and found some very interesting information. I think I will start working on putting together my own set-up and save some massive dough. I am very interested in putting together a more adjustable suspension system anyway so I imagine some modifications can be made along the way to get the rear end to come together. Thank you Stein.

Ok, I will snap some shots of what I actually have later. Most will be parts I have collected and such.

Also, I need to take pics of all the miata stuff I wont be needing so I may sell it. I have a short block, a long block, a tranny, stock wheels, and some other goodies. I have already sold quite a bit of stuff that came off when I stripped the chassis. At one point I had 5 factory hard tops and sold them, to mostly SM guys, for a a good profit. I persoanlly will be ok with no top or an aftermarket one. BUt since the SM guys just have to have the OEM top, why hang on to one of those.

Bond, it is. It was a running engine with low compression. When I bought the Miata the head was missing so I picked up the long block to build. I obviously have no need for it now. Would like to just recoer what I have invested, $300. I'll take pics.

WonTon, i figured that would be the thing to do. That way others who see this thread being active dont think you all are just beating up on a nOOb.

I'm in Lewisville, horrer at me sometime if you want to drink beer and discuss Miata brotherhood. I may even let you "borrow" Bond for a little while if that's your thing. just let me know if you want to use my dungeon or yours.

I am on the MX-5 board and the Texas Miata Board as well. Dont post much but know I want to be more active with the Miata guys. I didnt get too involved because I wasnt real sure what I was looking to do just yet. I am on the local and national SM boards too. I did meet some of the local Miata guys and had a couple out to a Thanksgiving gig I had out at my place in '08, along with a hand full of DSMers. Deep fried a couple of Turkeys and had good 'ol time. I would love to hook up with you, and maybe some others, sometime. Depends on if I end up liking any of you or not, lol. As for "borrowing" Bond, I already get good rates with a local pimp. But thanks for the offer.
