hi, I'm not turbo'd yet, I will be but I'm hopin I can be happy with stock power for a little bit.
I just bought a '91 red, completely stock (don't know if the NGK wires count)
it does have the timing advanced to 12. With 123k miles

PICS tomorrow I swear

this car is supposed to be my fuel efficient daily driver, (got 30mpg so far)
other rides a '91 ford explorer, and a 06 evo
but its too fun, I finally ordered some konis today, still tryin to decide on wheels
my plans were to just get the JR cold intake.. smog legal in CA? right?
but the turbo would void that. .. Do turbo miatas pass CA emissions?

The BEGI-S kit might be CARB certified and i'm pretty sure the greddy kit is as well.

Fill out your profile with where you live... and resist the urge to dig up 2 week old posts and spam in them. And welcome to the forum!

If you've got the original tires on a car that's got 123k on the odo and is 17 years old I'd like to meet that original owner as he must have been a magician.

i got mine with around the same mileage.
i thought about it this way,
buy jackson racing header, and full exhaust, = 800, roughly
buying an inake, maybe = 100-200

thats close to 1000

i bought my greddy kit for 600, shipped....

so think about it, with ur 1000. add some more, and get the begi s 1 kit
and tool around in a quick *** miata

or spend the same amount, and tool around in a slow miata

for wheels, pick ones u like, were not to picky, but if u get like 17 inch chrome ones, prepare for a flame

and MORE PICS OF EVO ,, or ban

Holy strong 1.6, that's up there with SM's 120hp "spec" motor outputs.

And holy thread revival.

So are you giving your friend your red '91 and keeping the blue '90? Your '91 is incredibly clean, pictures of it now?
