Default Newb in Northern Arizona

Hello from from Flagstaff AZ. I recently traded a a old Volvo 444 for a 91 aerocharged MX5. Ive been reading the forums for a a couple weeks now and have learned a ton about car, Thanks. I am mainly a a British/ Euro classic car guy/ brand new car kinda guy if that makes any sense. The Miata is kinda Retro Funky to me but im starting to understand it and feel it. but its nothing like my mg midget that the miata will be replacing as my daily driver and commuter. Ive been experiencing what seems to be common cold idle/ hesitation and surging kinda scary with the turbo. but other then that the little car has done 3k miles this month all over AZ and does great, AC seems pointless in these things with the loss of power related. Thanks Dan Ill work on some better pics, the cars rattle canned olive drab and flat black with a tan top. I got Bored one day and have stenciled military style labels and such on car just having fun with it.

get a can of "throttle body and air intake cleaner" and empty it on your throttle body/ IAC valve. Is your CEL blinking?
