Base map for 1.8 swap
I'm about to swap a 94 1.8 into my 91, and I'm not sure whether I should start with a 1.6 base map, or a 1.8 base map. Does it even matter? Here are some details:
1991 car/harness
DIYPNP 90-93 ECU
Wired for sequential injection
Retained the 1.8 TB with oem VTPS
coils rewired for 1.8
1.6 thermo sesors retained
AFM deleted
Flowforce 610 injectors

You'd want a basemap for your 91.
Change required fuel to compensate for your 1.8 and larger injectors, the mod for the VTPS should be in the MS hardware, and tell it you have sequential injection. The MS is only sending out a ground signal for the coils, so it doesn't care what coils are using that signal. 90-00 (even 01-05) coils are close enough to each other to use the same dwell even.
