Inlet Air temp 10 deg higher than actual
My newly acquired and fitted Enhanced MS2 from rev came with a IAT sensor which i have duly fitted and wired in.
After resolving grounding issues I notice it is consistantly 10 deg higher than the actual air temp.
I presume the engine and under hood temp should stabilise to match the current air temp after being unused for 18+ hours...?
That being the case is there a way to calibrate the MS2 or adjust the reading to compensate..?
Does it even matter....?

BUT in my defence, there is no information saying otherwise....
I have seen and read various posts asking for thermister calibration reference but had no idea why AND having got the ECU AND IAT sensor from Rev presumed it was already setup for it. (no ill comment towards Rev, I just don't know either way...)
I figure being accurately 10 deg (Celsius) out across the range means something aint right.
Also, only 4 days after fitting the MS2 I appreciate having a race meeting in 2 days time is probably not the wisest move but things seem more or less under control..... .....tales of glory or woe to follow
Also just found out 21 cars are entered, so just a little nervous of that too. If i can figure out the boost controller I am hoping for a top 5 but on 7psi might be lucky....and will have to rely heavily on Emilios suggested 15x9's or rain for the win!!
