Default Another CKP Wiring Question

Hi Miata lovers and thank you for taking the time to read my post. I've looked through the forums here and on various sites and I still need a little more help wiring together my MegaSquirt 2 V3 to my 1990 NA. I wish you guys could see my thread view count to see that I have done the research and it is the case that either A: I have a valid question or an easy to miss answer. or B: I am a complete retard who has overlooked numerous threads describing exactly what to do. In either case it is better than someone who asks without checking.

So I have wired my MS2 as per this thread on Miata Wiki. I would post the pictures of my board but, for practical purposes, it looks identical to the pictures in the posts. Another note, I bought the MS pigtail harness (at the bottom you can see how the harness is wired) so this is what I am working with and where my question lies. The harness comes with a shielded line with two wires, one black and one white, and what appears to be another wire wrapped around the black and white wires. This "wrapped" wire seems to connect to pin 2 on the DB37, the white wire hooks up to pin 25 on the DB37, and the ground hooks up to pin 1 on the DB37. I understand that that white signal wire hooks up to pin 2G from my stock ECU harness. After wiring in the white signal wire to my MS do I need to wire in the other two wires from the pigtail anywhere?

Bonus questions!:
Is wiring in the fuel pump really as easy as grabbing the light green wire from under the driver side dash and sending that signal over to pin 37 on the DB37 as mentioned by Sliptime in this post?

I noticed that this wiring setup on wiki miata is a bit different from other jumper setups that I've seen around the web. Are there advantages to one jumper setup over another? What are the differences in functionality?

Are there any further tips that you'd recommend before I try to crank my miata for the first time on MS? I've done my fair share of research so I am pretty confident on working with tuner studio and getting the settings dialed in but I am talking about that kind of information that has you going like "Aww man! I wish I knew this info when I first started tuning my car!".

Thanks for reading through my thread and have a wonderfully boosted day! Also, if all you want to drop is a link to answer any of the above questions instead of reiterating the exact thing from a thread that is cool with me.

I've recently finished my MS2 V3 DIY, I've left the black and the "silver" twisted pair unconnected. Just connected the white one to the miata's white wire and it's working fine.
As for the fuel pump, yes, just grab the only light green wire and tap into it. Also be sure to remove the st-sgn fuse as that's the fuse that sends 12v from afm to fuel pump relay, you don't need that anymore.

Bonus: Try cranking your car with the mentioned fuel pump relay removed so you can make sure your timing is right. I've wired my MS2 following another tutorial and my spark outputs were reversed, hence my timing was 90 deg. retarded!, Take care and I wish you start her up soon!
