I just installed my VVTuner today and I can't get it to connect to my laptop. The message I get is "cannon open port Error code:8" It gives the same message when trying to use different ports that aren't connected so that leads me to believe the tuner is not sending date through the serial cable. The unit has power and LED does light up. I'm using a brand new LC-1 cable and a Vantec brand usb to serial adapter. This adapter has worked great for my MTX-L wideband and my megasquirt. I've tried all four of my usb ports being sure to select the right port in the communications menu. I checked the settings on the adapter and they are set to baud rate 9600. I tried a Serial monitor program to manually open the port with no luck. Any Thoughts?
